The Museum was inaugurated on June 15, 1970. The permanent exhibition of the Municipal Museum of Óbidos is a journey through artistic production and the religious devotion of the village's history. The collection bears witness to the action of religious collegiate bodies and the cultural enrichment marked by commissions from some of the biggest names in Portuguese art.
