All the family will enjoy a visit to the Apedale Valley Light Railway. Using our historic steam and diesel locomotive trains, journeys are a 15 minute round trip beside Apedale Country Park. Visit our Gift Shop. We have special events throughout the season to appeal to all interest groups.

All the family will enjoy a visit to the Apedale Valley Light Railway. Using the historic steam and diesel locomotive trains, they aim to tell visitors the story of the Industrial Narrow Gauge Railway - unsung heroes of British indutrial heritage. Visitors travel in coaches once used by Welsh quarrymen and by tourists in Snowdonia. Journeys are a 15 minute round trip that travel beside the beautiful Apedale Country Park.
