I was among its first clients in 2003. Like Le Flore 50 years ago, it’s a neighborhood bar that turned into a Parisian institution. Workers come in for morning espresso, and then a younger crowd comes later to drink wine and enjoy the music selection by Madjik, the barman. If you show up alone, there’s little chance you’ll leave on your own. Few know that the bar has opened an art installation. Called the Kiss Room, it's a single hotel room that guests can book for a single night only. The tiny space is absolutely covered in 1,000 mirrors so that it appears endless.

La Perle achieves a rare balance between all-day and late-night venue, and has a good vibe.In the morning : early risers, in the evening : a Crowd of young dandies. A café frequented by John Galliano
