Beautiful old viking church with a museum right next door. Check their website for opening hours, very seasonal.

We think this is the finest example of the Norwegian stave churches. The church was built sometime between 1180 and 1250 AD, and it's a very interesting and beautiful place to visit.

Borgund stave church dedicated to the Apostle Andrew, is the best-preserved stave church in Norway, dating back to 1180.
