Local hangout, with friendly staff and customers, and food service in the back. Great beer and whiskey selection; reasonably priced drinks; darts and pool table; background music usually rock n roll. Closes at midnight on weeknights (so not to bother neighbors too late); til 2am on Fri/Sat.

*dog-friendly on the back patio (call ahead to confirm)* Another neighborhood favorite which I have not personally been to yet, but people love. Apparently a dive bar/casual-but-good food spot, with a dog-friendly back patio.
