“A UNESCO World Heritage Sight, the Tower of London is a collection of buildings which have been at the heart of London’s history for 900 years. You can easily spend a full day here, but the highlights are the Crown Jewels (23,000 dazzling gemstones), the White Tower (original castle built by William I after his victory in 1066 at Battle of Hastings), the grisly history of the Bloody Tower, the Medieval Palace and the Yeoman Guard (formerly known as Beefeaters). You can also walk the Tower’s walls, have a picnic in the grassy moat and get the best view of nearby Tower Bridge. ”
