Lambeth Palace built in the year 1435 & home to the Archbishop of Canterbury. Lambeth Palace is a 5-6 minute walk away. Turn left onto Old Paradise Street & follow the road under the railway bridge turning right onto Lambeth High Street. Cross at the crossing & Lambeth Palace (The Garden Cafe ) is in front of you.Saint Mary at Lambeth Church is on the left (now the Garden Museum) Lambeth palace Is one of the few medieval buildings left in London. Visitors can take a guided tour of the Crypt, Guard Room, Chapel & the library.
