For epic running adventures outside of town, this national park can’t be beat. A well-known heritage site with various routes totalling over 93 km, the park welcomes runners, cyclists, and trekkers of all levels. Routes range from the world-class Coast Track—yes it’s runnable, at 26 km each way—to the 10-km Curra Moors Loop. If you’re looking for a combination of scenic wilderness and coastal beauty, one of my favourite routes is the 20-km, out-and-back trip along the Lady Carrington Drive bike path, which is also open to runners and walkers. It passes three picnic areas and crosses 15 creeks—count them!
