Casa Rosada (Pink House) the President seat here during government operations, is next to the Plaza de Mayo where you can also see the Cabildo an many other historical city attractions. Take the subway in Callao (Line D) to Catedral Station (is a short ride), or you can walk there (25min - 2.3km).

On the eastern side of Plaza de Mayo stands the Casa Rosada, named for its distinctive color. It was from the balcony here that Eva Perón famously addressed the throngs of impassioned supporters packed into Plaza de Mayo. The building houses the Argentine President's offices; the presidential…

Monuments/Sites célèbres
“Main attraction of Buenos Aires. The Obelisk was the new icon 100 years ago when the city decided to take a full block lenght perpendicular to the river in order to create avenues and a better connection from north to south. This was the time Buenos Aires started to build the first Subway in the world along with New York.”

Centre commercial
“This is a very interesting shopping mall. Modeled after the great Italian arcade Gallerias Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, the building was commissioned exclusively for Le Bon Marche. It was originally constructed in the 1890’s as the Buenos Aires headquarters for the Parisian department store. The mall is inside a lovely Beaux Arts building in downtown Buenos Aires.”
