Newborough beach is just beautiful. Take a walk through the forest to historic Llandwyn island and lighthouse for some fantastic views and enjoy the spirituality it gives. Plenty of parking with the opportunity to BBQ too. Ideal for water sports and bike riding.

Walk to the end of the village by the estuary and walk across the cob. Here you will get beautiful views of the forest, estuary and there’s usually some Welsh Mountain ponies in the marshy fields on the left. You can continue your walk into Newborough forest and might even see some Red Squirrels…
