Unpretentious, tasty Turkish food. They've always got room for a large group last-min; their food is outstanding and inexpensive. Service is warm and kind. Ask them for recs because I always forget the name of my favorite thing here. Oh, and $3 house wine.

Our favorite Turkish spot. Everything on the menu is great. Get the babaganoosh and fresh pita. It's near the Tenderloin, but don't worry - despite being seen as a scary part of SF, the Tenderloin also hosts some of the best food spots.

Turkish food freshly prepared. My favorite restaurant in the hood. Rice pudding is excellent with a Turkish coffee

A bit pricy but the food is definitely good.

Fabulous Turkish food run by a Turkish Family. Very authentic and absolutely delicious. Better than the food I had in Turkey.

“One of the best restaurants in SF! Food is remarkable, wine list is perfect. The pinsas (think pizza, but lighter and more delicious) are to-die-for. We went back twice in 3 days once we discovered it!”

“Just a lovely ride to the beach, not to mention the DeYoung Museum, The Asian Art Museum, Conservatory of Flowers, Japanese Tea Garden, California Academy of Sciences, Lands End for a Hike, and the ruins of Sutro Baths. Eat at The Chalet, home to some of the city’s murals from the WPA and some mighty fine food AND views!”
