Historical View of the old Cotton Mill. If you want to Hike, there are trails of varying intensities. We love the red rocky trail. Breathtaking views of the Creek. Bring water and maybe a bite to eat.
State park only 35 minutes outside the city with nice hiking trails and access to the creek. The trail along the creek is beautiful and many people like to hang out in the water with their families or dogs.
Beautiful little hike to a historic, Civil War Era mill (Sweetwater Mill Ruins). Some scenes in The Hunger Games was filmed here as well.
This is a great hiking spot because they are plenty of points along the river to walk across the river on the rocks. Part of the hunger games movie was filmed at the ruins there.
