The Goddess of Mercy Temple (Chinese: 觀音亭) (also known as Kuan Yin Teng or Kong Hock Keong) is a Chinese temple in the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Situated at Pitt Street, it was first built in 1728, making it Penang's oldest Taoist temple.
Penang's oldest temple. First built in 1728, it is set on Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling and was constructed by early immigrant settlers from China. Upon completion, the temple was one of the most magnificent Chinese-style structures in northern Malaysia.
