One of many brilliant beaches. Go to Mammy Johnstons for ice cream, a walk along the beach to hidden Shell Valley along the dunes and around the airport run ways, and old Church Killugsprone

A lovely beach town, some of the best surfing in Europe. A surf school and lessons available. While here check out the Sunday markets at the airport or climb Knocknarea (listed in sightseeing activities).
