“Great "greasy spoon" with lots of character. Toys for kids to play with. The drive from Halfmoon Bay and Garden Bay in general are beautiful. After your meal, order an ice cream or milkshake and go for a stroll in the small town. ”

“300 steps from your suite: walk down the driveway, turn left and walk down Godkin, continue onto the cult-de-sac (Orca Road). You’ll see a sign for Daniel Point Park. There is a fairly steep trail with stone steps. Step down with care and you will be rewarded with a 3.6-acre peninsula park: walk to the very end of it and right down to the sea. If it’s windy on one side, try the other; there are many seaside places to hang out here. This is probably one of the quietest and most beautiful parks on the Coast. There are no facilities available. Lowtide offers tide pools on the rocks to explore and pink starfish; seals frequently hang out just offshore and eagles frequently fly overhead.”

“Save a little from cold beer and wine or off sale prices. The government liquor store is located at the IGA plaza in Madeira Park.”
