Although you'll need to access this via ATV/UTV, this is a very unique place where if you bring a wrench or hammer, the rocks will ding like you're hitting metal on metal.

A unique outcropping of volcanic basalt, one of only a handful in the world, where you can show up with a hammer and tap out a tune on the rocks. Hence the name “Ringing Rocks.” This one is off the beaten path and only accessible in the summer due to unimproved dirt roads. And you will have to get directions and probably a hand drawn map from us or from a local because there are no signs and your gps app will only get you lost. All disclaimers aside, this is worth the trek.
