Really nice walk along the river with water taxis in season and many restaurants/shops and activities

Great place to walk around and explore. Various restaurants, views of the water and cityscape, mini golf, shops, etc. Courtney loves the riverfront for her daily jog, a runner’s fave. It’s especially great as it is never too crowded. Tip: Start at the Riverfront Market and walk all the way up to the DuPont Environmental Education Center to do the entire walk (~1.75 mi). If you’re feeling extra ambitious, you can keep going and the boardwalk turns into the Jack Markell Trail (8mi total). Believe it or not, great sunset views here!

The Riverfront has Frawley Stadium, home of the Blue Rocks minor league baseball team; Penn Cinema-IMAX movie theater, Children Museum, Skating Rink (winter), River Taxi, River Walk Mini Golf … and nice restaurants.
