On the Sjätte Tunnan of the Old Town, you can get a real mug of mead in the medieval setting. Here is a mix of old rustic Swedish home cooking and gourmet dishes inspired by southerner latitudes. The purpose of the menu, inspired by riddler's books, is that the food should be as authentic as possible to get you closer to what it really tasted in 1435. In the basement selection you can book large banquets in the middle of the middle, where you can compose the dishes to the menu. If you want something extra, the Sixth Thunder offers various forms of entertainment, including fire extinguishers, belly dancing and magic artists

Locals spot! They play kind of aggressive music upstairs, but downstairs is the bar in what used to be an old cellar (typical of many bars and restaurants in Gamla Stan) where they have a great selection of beer, and you can try mead here too! (Mead is a really sweet beer made with honey, that Vikings used to drink).
