This place is literally less than a mile away. Fun little restaurant on the Catawba with an outside bar and deck. If you're spending time at the bar ask for Ned, tell him where you're staying, and you're guaranteed stiff drinks.

They gave wonderful seafood and land lovers meals. They servers and bartenders are great, as well as the owner. The view of the river is very nice.
