If you go to ONE museum while you're here, this has to be it. They've just added a huge modern wing. Block out a few hours, though, b/c it's gigantic and you'll want to see everything...

Stroll along Millennial park and see the infamous Water Lilies painting by Monet in the Art Institute - my second favorite tourist spot in the city (to the Shedd aquarium)
