It is the only surviving Elizabethan Church in London. Its country church air is not a coincidence; at that time, Stoke Newington was a village on the outskirts of London.

The very big church is the new one. Well worth a look inside. There is also a smaller older church across the road. It has concerts and plays throughout the year.

Both the Old Church and the New Church are licensed for weddings, and either may provide a wonderful setting.
