Whilst visiting Hill Top you might want to go on to Hawkshead to see the school-house where Wordsworth was taught.

Really interesting little museum. See where Wordsworth went to school. The tour gives a fascinating insight into what school life would have been like hundreds of years ago. Good for kids too.
