World famous for its breath-taking chateau and its beautiful cheese, Rocamadour is another tourist hub. Buried into the cliff face are many shops, crepes stands and ice cream parlours. At night, one bar welcomes the hospitality staff from all over the region into the night for drinks. Perfect for the young adults of the group! Much like any drive you go on in the region and the one to Sarlat, the drive to Rocamadour will take you through many untouched villages of France. Going to Rocamadour will take you via Lacave, a beautiful clifftop village.

Ancient town built into the hillside with great architecture and cathedral on top of the town. Magnificent views, little shops, cafes and restaurants. Worth a visit!

Beautiful town built into the cliffs overlooking the national park. Religious monuments throughout the village. Great tourist shops, restaurants, cafes etc. Lots of tourist attractions including a monkey sanctuary, insect land, eagle park, and the magnificent stalactite caves 'La Gouffre de Padirac' not so far away, where you take a boat ride inside the cave.

ROCAMADOUR is approached in two different ways. If you take the steep winding path down to this spectacular village you will pass the14 Stations of the Cross on your way. However there are two lifts to take you there, and back to the top of the cliff, if you prefer not to walk.
