Los Angeles restaurant. 5-star reviews on Yelp. Get ready for a surprise though... it is in a crappy strip mall next to the 101fwy. You'll love the fake flowers and plastic table coverings. The place hasn't been remodeled since maybe the early 1980's. It is a two-person show - the woman who runs it and the one in the back who cooks. Seat yourself and you'll get menus along with People Magazine and other tabloids. If it is busy (they do a lot of take-out orders), get comfy and enjoy the magazines. It'll be awhile. Whatever you get is awesome, home-cooked food. If I had one meal left on Earth, Thai Pepper would be it. It is VERY VERY inexpensive, so please tip generously.

There are many great ethnic restaurants in Hollywood. This if my favorite because of the sweet couple who own and run it, the well priced authentic food, and the gossip magazines.

Quite probably THE BEST Thai Food I've had - plus it's a unique experience....think of her as your gram...you'll know what I mean when you get there;) Then stop for a doughnut next door - so good!
