Como has been awarded One Chefs Hat for seven consecutive years since 2008 and the Sydney Morning Herald Award for Silver Service in 2010. Amazingly gorgeous food without the condescending waiters. Spoil yourself if you can

Let's start with a Chef's Hat Restaurant - The owners grow their own herbs and heirloom vegetables. A La Carte or Degustation, although always check online as the menu changes as to what is in season. The price befits the total experience.

Half an hour's drive (you could take the train if planning to drink) but it's worth it for a true fine-dining experience. There are no views, but you'll be too transfixed with your plate to care.
