Hommonasset Beach State Park has not only the Salt Water Beaches, but also food and drink concession, a board walk, a Nature Center, Picnic Pavilions, and camp sites available.

Hammonasset State Park is a wonderful place to visit. Many places to walk/hike and bike. The beach won't disappoint either! If you are a Connecticut resident you can enter for free. Out of state visitors can pay a small entry fee.

Hammonassett is a great place to camp, or just visit for the day. It is a beautiful preserve where you can see different types of birds, and the beach is lovely. Excellent for a long bike ride or picnic. They charge in season and often close the entrance at capacity. Walk the beach or follow the boardwalk.
