We also highly recommend visiting the Pearl. Located north of downtown, this new area features lots of restaurants, coffee shops and some shopping. Make sure to stop for a drink at Hotel Emma, featuring one of the best bars in San Antonio. You will have easy access to the Riverwalk for an after-meal stroll. On the weekend they also have Farmers Markets.

This is a great place to walk around, grab some food, relax on the lawn with a drink or bring the kids to play at the splash pad.

My absolute favorite destination at the site of an old converted brewery. Enjoy a scenic river walk, cocktails, fine dining, and shopping. There's even a splash pad for the kids and a Farmers Market on Saturday and Sunday mornings! Local tip - This is the best part of the River Walk. Walk south to get to The Grotto and FISH art installations.
