This is a beautiful stretch of beach that you can get direct access to, which is rare. Get a deck chair, stick your toes in the sand, grab a beer, and write away while listening to the ocean. If you're not going on a weekend, you're going to get plenty of space and it's going to be like your own little private beach retreat. Park on the PCH and walk in to save the parking cost. Stop off at Solstice Canyon for a great hike on your way back into the city.

Great beach walk - tide pools, stunning cliffs, amazing ambiance! Two caveats - it is important to go when the tide is low (search LA Tide Chart); and it is wise to park on PCH (Hwy 1) and walk down, it will save you $35-50 in parking. The restaurant is ok, but not great.

Gorgeous beach that feels like you’re not in LA anymore. You can always park on the side of the road and walk down to Paradise Cove to avoid the parking fees.

Go on weekdays. Pacific coast surf & food spot & frequent movie location with walks along dramatic sandstone cliffs. Tables & Lights in the sand. Expensive valet only parking $40 so makes sure to spend $30 at Paradise Cove Cafe so your parking is only $8
