I scream for Ice Cream. Soft serve and more. Treat yourself and bribe the kids for the ride. In Houston, Alaska on Parks Highway. About an hour's drive North on way to Talkeetna, Montana Creek, Willow Creek, Sheep Creek and other fishing sites. Little Susitna River flows behind the market.

If your journey takes you north towards Big Lake and Houston, I’m pretty sure there is a law (or there should be at least), that you must stop and partake in an ice cream cone.

Miller's Market (and all the Little Millers) is a family owned and operated business and they have the best ice cream. After coffee, Alaskan's love their ice cream! Whether getting out and enjoying a cone outside or pulling up to one of the ice cream huts, make sure to do what the locals do: eat ice cream!!
