Lieu historique
“Citadel Hill is a focal point in the downtown core. During the warmer months you are bound to find people picnicking, running laps or sun bathing and in the winter it is the perfect spot for sledding. But what isn't always noticeable from the street view are the fortifications built into the side of the hill. If you've never been, it is worth spending some time in this National Historic Site that protected the city for over 150 years. If you are in the downtown core you will also hear the firing of the noon gun, a daily occurrence. ”
