One of the few mountain refuges that is reachable by car, the history of the site dates back to World War 1. You can still visit some of the old military constructions. The food is typical of the area and the views and atmosphere is good

A wonderful mountain hut with local dishes and a great view. It's only reachable by foot.

From there in 40 minutes you can reach one of the greatest points of view above the entire Como lake.....

Drive to Argegno, then up to Pigra and further to the top of the mountain. Walk in the nature, find the bio cheese makers or walk up to the Rifugio Venini where you can have genuine food from these mountains.
