Trail notes, this park has 11 miles of hiking, 5.2 miles of paved, and 3.2 miles of mountain bike trails. In the winter the park maintains 8 miles of cross country ski trails. Snowshoeing is allowed alongside these trails.

One of our favorite state parks around here! You can rent lake equipment, swim, or hit the trails!

The gently rolling topography is an excellent example of original landscape transition from prairie to northern hardwoods. This hilly, lake-strewn, and partially wooded countryside is an excellent setting for recreational activities.

45 minutes away from the lake house, but is an exceptional venue for day activities! Glendalough offers bike, canoe, and kayak rentals.

One summer in high school I got to work out here running the bike and boat rentals and it was one of the best summers ever! This state park has a great paved looping trail around the lake that is perfect for young families. The park also features a nice beach for swimming, and dock for small boating (kayak, canoe, paddle boards, and paddle boats).
