A great place to walk the river in Summer. Hang out by the Harbour, grab food and drinks, stroll the market and beer gardens. In Winter, rent skates and do the park loop or river trails. Don't miss the Sauna experience at the forks, (when pandemics aren't shutting it down). For runners try the bridges loop, Forks Market - North to Provencher Bridge, then South through St Bonifice, to the Main street Bridge and back into the Forks.

Where two rivers meet you can always expect an ancient trading place, and Winnipeg owes a lot of its cultural vibe to this history. Now it's a market and park space with good food, lots to do, crafts shops - a good place to hang out.

A great place to get a sense of Winnipeg's history. Lots of pleasant places to walk, boat tours in season along the Red and Assiniboine Rivers, an excellent Children's Museum, and lots of small shops for tourists. In winter there is skating rink with skate rentals and when it is cold enough a long skating and walking trails on the two rivers. One of our favourite places to go for a winter walk in Winnipeg. This is a popular site for locals and tourists alike.
