“Footbridge Beach is technically part of Ogunquit Beach, but without being quite as overrun and crowded as if you went down to Ogunquit Center. The parking lot is smaller, but you're so close to the beach that you can walk, or drive down, drop off the family & beach gear, park at Compass Pointe, and then walk the 15-minutes to join the rest of the family. It's the same beautiful beach as Ogunquit beach (you can literally walk down to Ogunquit beach from Footbridge beach), but with less people and more room to spread out. It's the best beach in the area--my family doesn't go anywhere else.”
