Big sandy beach makes this a favorite for sea turtles to lay their eggs. This park is only open on weekends and cruise ship days, but will also be closed during turtle season. There are no services out there so make sure you bring everything you need.

So much natural beauty. This protected refuge has been a sea turtle nesting spot for generations and the National Park Service offers seasonal baby turtle hatching guided tours.

This is the perfect beach in "Shawshank Redemption!" It is open on most weekends and cruise ship days....totally worth it.

Only open certain days. Gorgeous beach featured in Shawshank Redemption movie at the end. No shade so take a hat and lots of sunscreen plus a cover up.
