In the heart of the Åkrafjord is Langfoss. This is Norway's 5th highest waterfall, with a fall height of an incredible 612 meters and is ranked to one of top 10 most beautiful waterfall in the world. Next to the waterfall there is a path that one can follow up to a lookout plateau with an impressive view. Åkrafjorden is, in addition to being a piece of beautiful Norwegian nature, also a good offer for those who may wish to fish in saltwater. Fishing licenses can be purchased.
