Cabin 1 - Unit 2 at Blue Mountain Rest

We are pet friendly but there are pooch fees and a pet policy. Please go to "additional" House Rules. Unit 2 is only one of 4 cabins on this property. We have other listings in case this one is not available. BM Rest in the center of the Adirondack Mts in NY State. We are open year round, spring, summer, winter & fall. This accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen , private bathroom, living room, private bedroom & outdoor fire pit. This accommodation sleeps 4, w/ Direct TV, HBO & Wifi.

Bell Meadow Cottage

This cozy studio style cottage sleeps 2 guests. It has a queen bed and a full bath w/ shower. There is a washing machine in the cabin & outdoor clothes line for drying. *Laundry detergent is NOT provided* We are dog friendly --NO additional fee. (NO CATS ALLOWED). TV Steaming provided (Hulu live, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Apple TV). *An AWD/4WD VEHICLE IS A MUST DURING WINTER AND EARLY SPRING! YOU SHOULD HAVE WINTER TIRES WITH GOOD TREAD (not all season). NEWLY RENOVATED 2023! This property is unmatched as it sits 150 feet above Hinckley Lake which hosts breathtaking views of 50 miles of the Adirondack Mountains. There is no other rental with this incredible view in the Adirondacks! The house can serve as a meeting place for a family and friends to get together or a very intimate romantic stay for just two. We have Romantic packages for Anniversaries, Birthdays or Just Because which include balloons, chocolate, hand-written notes and flowers

Treehouse compound, no cleaning fee

The rental includes both treehouses (toilet in each), cooking/eating pavilion (only cold water at sink) (outhouse nearby), outside shower (cold), firepit. Additional guests above the 2 included in per night stay are $30 per person per night up to a maximum of 11 guests during the warmer months and 5 guests total during the cooler ends of the season (June and mid Sept to mid Oct). Beds: 3 doubles, 5 singles. No pets allowed. Not ideal for very young children or people with mobility issues.

Picturesque location on farmland with views of the mountains. We are a micro farm. Wake up and watch the sunrise and go for a short hike on the property, and get to know the animals. We are located 35 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY and 45 minutes from Dorset and Manchester, VT. Hike the Adirondack or Green Mountains, paddle the streams or go to a nearby small city for a play, a festival, or a concert. There is a long list of things to do and see within an hour of us!

Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!

Rustic Tiny Cabin

This tiny, magical, rustic, cabin is situated overlooking a large pond on a private property of 200+ acres. Though the cabin is very small (about 10x12 ft with an upstairs sleeping loft) it is quaint and lovingly made with hand split cedar shingles and locally harvested wood. There is an outhouse and no power/running water, but a 5 gallon cooler of spring-fed drinking water is provided.
