Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

It's perfect base for exploring the area with whale watching, horse riding, hot tubs, a beer spa, fjords, trails and restaurants just a short drive away.

Welcome to Höfði! We offer a cozy cottage in a stunning location in Dalvik, surrounded by the Svarfadardalur Nature Reserve! Elsti, “The Oldest”, is a cottage with sleeping places for up to 6 people (1 french size double bed, 1 single bed, 2 bunk beds and a comfortable sofa bed). The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers a restaurant, art gallery and a public hot tub by the ocean.

Bakkakot 1 is the largest of our cabins in the woods, with beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. A relaxing retreat in the Icelandic countryside with TV, DVD, well equipped kitchen, shower room, WiFi, games and books, and a shared grill (summer) and hot tub area. We are located 20km from Akureyri, so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.

Boasting city views, Akureyri Loghouse features accommodation with a balcony and a coffee machine, around 9.1 km from Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall. Set 32 km from Godafoss Waterfall, the property offers a terrace and free private parking. The cabin is well equipped, with new WIFI for guests to use, and has new quality mattresses made up with comfortable linen, soft towels and warm blankets. The area is extremely peaceful. In the backyard is a heated football court and a playground for kids.

Perfect location for exploration in the Eyjafjordur area, both summer and winter, hiking biking, skiing etc. Ideal for mountain skiers. Daily whale watching tours with Arctic Sea Tours from Dalvik.

The main cabin has one bedroom with a double bed, the living room has a sleeping sofa that can accommodate two people. Outside on the patio, there is a small guest cabin with one double bed.
