It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna. The Gilitrutt apartment

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. A lovely apartment next to many of the most famous attractions on Iceland such as Seljavallalaug, Skógafoss, Reynisfjara and much more. Only 25 minutes drive to Vík. The apartment is named after the hag Gilitrutt wich is a folktale about a hag that supposingly lived in the mountain behind the apartment. In the bedrooms are windows up high with a nice view of that mountain which name is Rauðafell.

Recent build cottage in the south of iceland, located just outside the small town of Hvolsvöllur, only 3 km from the town. we offer you a relaxing stay with a great view of volcano Hekla, there is much to see close to Hvolsvöllur, for example volcanos like Eyjafjallajökull, waterfalls like Seljalandsfoss or Skógarfoss. the cottage is fitted with a kitchen but if you don't feel like cooking there are resturants to choose from in the area.

Our new cottages are located within 3 kilometers from Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and 7 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur The cottages were build in 2018 and are designed to be minimalistic, cozy and to enjoy the amazing nature that Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Nothern Lights in the sky on a cold winter night.

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 45m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
