Elora's Cabin is a remote luxury cabin tucked away amongst the bluffs and trees on the banks of the Sipsey River. Direct access to the river allows you to head north and explore deep into Bankhead Forrest or head south to Smith Lake. Backed up to a rock bluff with a natural spring, there is a seating area with a firepit that provides a serene escape to nature or use the deck for cooking and river views. It's designed to allow you to fully experience nature, while also having comforts of home!

Come join us on Smith Lake, in our beautiful one room cottage. This cottage is perfect for a couples getaway or for a small family to enjoy lake access with incredible views. Our cottage provides a very spacious private parking lot to accommodate your vehicle, boat and trailers. We have a queen-size Murphy bed and two twin beds. You’ll enjoy a private fire pit area overlooking the lake. We have an available pontoon, kayaks, and corn hole rental that can be coordinated separately.

High Speed wireless Internet in the house and at the dock, makes both a great place to work or relax. Great woods to hike in or just enjoy the beautiful sunset from one of the screened in porches.

Update as of 04/2026: While I do accept pets, moving forward we can only house hypoallergenic dogs. Due to allergies, extreme shedding and cats destroying the furniture, we have decided to scale back on the dogs we allow.
