Me and my wife fell in love with the un-earthly beauty of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and especially the area around the glacier and simply had to own our own getaway at this magical place which was voted the #1 place to visit in the wintertime (travelandleisure), and amongst Europe's 25 most interesting villages (Business Insider)

Fallegur staður og mikið fuglalíf. Æðarvarp rétt við húsið og hægt að fá leiðsögn um varpið. Stórt kríuvarp á svæðinu. Húsið er á skjólgóðum stað og útsýni út á sjó og sést vel á Snæfellsnesið í góðu skyggni. Á veturna við rétt skilyrði, er mikill möguleiki á að sjá Norðurljós. Húsið er gamalt en allt ný tekið í gegn. Á svefnloftinu er 2 góðar dýnur (brattur stigi upp). Bjart og fallegt. Stutt á flugvöllinn, u.þ.b. 10 mínútur ( 9 km. ), og góð sundlaug í Sandgerði ( 2 km.)

The house is between the towns Stykkishólmur (20 km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km), where you can find all facilities you need. The house has superb view over mountains, sea and lava fields. From here you can visit the Shark Museum in Bjarnarhöfn, go swimming in Stykkishólmur, go sailing around Breiðarfjörður or visit the national park.
