This location is perfect for those seeking a unique place to stay while enjoying all the adventures available around the area including hiking trails, horseback riding, ATV riding, hunting, and some of the best mountain biking around. There is beautiful aspen covered,alpine high country nearby as well as red rock desert/ formations including a series of natural arches.

1100sf, single story guest house that's a couple minutes from the town of Rifle, yet backs up to vast open space. Sheltered from view of the highway by trees, boasts tremendous sunsets over the Roan Cliffs, and views of the Hogbacks and Mamm Peak. "R Farm" is a developing farm w/ sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. The guest house is adjacent to our family home and near the barn. Open year round, this spectacular 5300+ sq ft log cabin/lodge is a 1-hr drive from Grand Junction Airport. Nestled in an aspen grove overlooking Vega Lake, the cabin sleeps 17 people (kids included) and parks up to 8 vehicles. Wildlife abounds and the lake is full of trout (some up to 5 lbs). Outdoor equipment is offered free of charge (see list below) to enhance your stay. An expansive covered deck has a propane grill for BBQs and there is an outdoor fire pit for fireside evenings.
