Located at Pickerel Lake, one of the best clear-water lakes in northeast South Dakota, the apartment above our garage offers guests all-seasons year-round access for fishing, hunting, boating, and water recreation activities on Pickerel Lake and on other area lakes. From a keypadded shared entryway up 16 standard-incline steps to the apartment are two bedrooms, living room, full kitchen, full bath with shower, plus free parking outdoors including area for boat/trailer parking.

This adorable bungalow is situated on the shoreline of Big Stone Lake and captures amazing sunrises over the water. The open concept boasts beautiful lakefront views from the kitchen and living areas. Enjoy the comfort of the fireplace, dinner on the lakefront deck, a ride in the paddle boat or stoke up a bonfire as you listen to the waves on the shore and fish off the dock. Public boat ramp is directly next door for easy access to the lake.

Enjoy your summer at the lake. THIS THE LOWER LEVEL OF A HOUSE ON ROY LAKE. It is separate from the upstairs and has its own entrance on the lake. Includes access to dock and close to boat dock. (Our dock is only in the water from May-Sept) 2 bedrooms (1 King bed, 2 queen beds), and large sectional couch. Has kitchenette, private bathroom, gas grill, fire pit. Bring your boat!

Shorewood Castle -Lakeside Suite

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Lakeside Suite is about 1,000 sq. ft suite on the 2nd floor of this 120-yr-old brick home on Big Stone Lake. You'll have your own personal historic apartment with a lake facing deck and all the comforts of today. The sunsets are incredible and is only a short walk into downtown Ortonville, MN.
