Orig. from Germany, we love our little paradise on Ruth Lake and would like to share it with you. We live on the same property, there is enough room to respect each other's privacy. You are welcome to the gifts of nature and the use of kayak, canoe, fishing boat( licen.) bicycles. We are very well travelled and know exactly how nice it is to find a welcoming home away from home. Small town nearby for basics. 45min to 2 larger towns with all amenities. Completely private, waterfront with misc very friendly livestock on site. With only 2 cabins, 80m apart, enjoy your own little world. Or vacation with friends, host a wedding or family reunion! If renting both cabins, we allow RV's/tents with your party for a small fee.

Half Moon Guest House

The Half Moon Guest House is quiet & peaceful, unique accommodation, comfortable atmosphere and friendly hospitality. It's only a few minutes to Wells Gray Park and 4 km from town. The guest house is on the same property as the owner's house. On our little mini ranch we have 5 horses, 2 friendly pup's and one cute little kitten. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, etc. We also provide coffee/tea. Our Guests can use the fire pit and barbecue and relax on the patio.

Westsyde is a lovely community with many family friendly amenities nearby. Centennial park is a 5 minute walk and includes walking trails, petting zoo, playground, splash pad, bike pump track, disc golf, and a dog park. Downtown Kamloops is just a short 15 minute drive. Located only 10 minutes off the Trans-Canada Highway and 20 minutes from Crowfoot mountain. Our semi waterfront loft has many characteristics and charm and is in a prime location on Shuswap lake. Near many parks, waterfalls and one of the most beautiful lakes to explore! Truly home away from home!
