The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. Quiet, serenity Borrego Springs Anza Borrego

Summer is here. How about some stargazing at our Dig this June-July-August in international dark sky? Bring your telescope and cameras for some astro-photography. You can see the Milky Way with your naked eye. Perseid shower is in August. Sleep during the day and stay up late at night in our backyard. Shooting star is a common occurrence. Lots of things to do in 600,000+ acres Anza Borrego State Park. Spelunking in wind caves! Find the goat for the 4th of July.
