Small two piece bathroom and small shower (similar in size to what you would find in a camping trailer) as well, all within the unit. Couch in living room also pulls out for an extra sleeping space. Guests enjoy being steps away from White Lake. It is a shallow bay (4-6ft) in this area. Head through the narrows for deeper water. This rustic cottage has all your basic needs to enjoy a comfortable stay. Guests comment on beautiful sunsets and sun rises if they are early birds. Try Kayaking, canoeing. Kids love the freedom of exploring in the pedal boats. We have had nice catches right off the dock cat fish, small mouth bass and kids squeal when they catch sun fish and baby perch .

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

Welcome to our waterfront cottage nestled in a quiet area of Wakefield on a 2 acre property. The two level 1,800sf cottage has been carefully designed to integrate with nature with large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. Come relax and recharge in nature. Plenty of activities to do: swim from the dock, canoe/kayak, fish, bike, golf, ski, explore the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, etc. (CITQ#304057. It is a great space for those needing a local place to stay or tourists wanting access to nature. We are steps away from activities such as walking, cycling, ATVing, skiing, snowmobiling can on the nearby Algonquin Trail. We are just 30 minutes from world class downhill skiing and whitewater rafting.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
