Discover a charming waterfall, abundant wildlife such as the endangered Cassowary, the smallest kangaroo in the world and over 160 bird species. We are just 90mins from Cairns.

Private Rainforest Ridge Retreat

Large upstairs fully self contained living area and full kitchen, with a bedroom QS bed, bath and shower combo, toilet. Downstairs is owners residence, a large front lawn with a fire place, as well as a shared laundry. Breakfast, coffee and tea facilities are provided let us know if you have any special requirements. We can also provide other meals at reasonable cost, Oza works in a kitchen and loves cooking delicious food. We offer hiking transfers and maps if you want to do some walks.

The cottage is on a ten acre property surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Rare and endemic species of rainforest and fruit trees. Wildlife and birds live and visit the property . Tree kangaroos nearby. The Crater Lakes National Park and several towns are only a 10 min drive. Secluded and magical in it's nature , Wompoo is the place to stay and take in natures ever changing ambience.

This studio is spotlessly clean, inviting, private, secure, naturally cool in summer, warm in winter, and self contained. You can hear the nature!. The studio has everything you need, with a breakfast provided each morning as well as all linen provided for your stay. There is also a plunge pool to relax in. The studio is a short walk to Edgehill town and Cairns famous botanical gardens. There is secure off street parking available. I have 3 rescue dogs that love meeting new people.

The Cubby Luxury Nature Retre

From the modern luxurious interior, you can soak up nature at its finest. The platypus, other waterlife and birdlife are visible from the breakfast / cocktail bar as well as from the bathtub or outdoor shower. The biggest decision you will need to make is which vantage point to enjoy. There is the stunning fireplace that flows from inside out to the deck, also able to be enjoyed from the bathtub. *PLEASE NOTE: The service fee is imposed and received 100% by Air BnB, not the host.

New self contained private unit with amazing view

A private and self contained guest unit, detached from to the main house with It’s own private entrance. It also has a private undercover area directly under the guest unit. Quite secluded location with elevated 180 degree views. Caravonica is a central location to a number of attractions around the Cairns area. You can walk to Lake Placid or Skyrail and only a short drive to Kuranda Rail at Freshwater. You can drive to Kuranda or Cairns City in twenty minutes.

Enjoy a tranquil time at this FNQ tropical retreat. With private access, you have sole use of the suite, stunning pool, garden, deck and outdoor heated shower. A complimentary continental style breakfast is provided. Centrally located near Edge Hill dining precinct, with morning coffee and a much loved local bakery, just 5 minutes walk. Cairns CBD and airport is a 10 minute drive. Other tourist destinations, walking trails and public transport are nearby.

Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere. Curated by Interior Designer Fifi. She wrote a story for the life to be lived in the space. Like the great man himself, thoughtful yet spare enough with surprises of artful collection. Tropical Bliss

MUST BE COVID SAFE Local cafes and restaurants only a 5 min walk, 10min walk to the botanical gardens, CBD is only 12mins by car. The studio is spacious, light and airey. Once inside, views to the pool which is surrounded by tropical garden. In the pool area there is a large sunbed for relaxing, morning coffee or a quiet sundowner. My place is very private, quiet and you will have a real local experience. It offers your own BBQ for cooking.

FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

Our Tropical Flower Farm is a 52-acre property situated at the foothills of Mt Bartle about one hour drive south of the Cairns International Airport. We grow an extensive variety of tropical Heliconia and Ginger for use in the Australian Cut Flower market. Our farm is completely self-sustainable. We have a waterfall that generates our power through Hydroelectricity and gravity-fed water from a natural spring.
