The Far Side - Bamboo Caravan has a lovely cozy Double bed with a little seated area that can double up as another bed.Its fits snug inside a small bamboo forest that keeps it cool in summer. it has a little outside chill spot, a gas stove and fridge with an outside loo and shower only 20 meters away. The Caravan is beside our pear orchard. We on a smallholding walking distance from Barrydale town center overlooking Langeberg mountains. Hicking trails and swims in the Crystal pools awaiting you

Wildcroft Gypsy Bowtop

Our Gypsy Bowtop Caravan was handmade by a wonderful local craftsman. Made with Spruce and Cypress wood, and a canvas top covering the characteristic bows, it is a unique and very comfortable space. It is self-contained with a double bed, a bathroom, a dinette and kitchenette with a small wood-burning stove. Windows in the canvas give views of the garden and mountains. There is a private deck with seating and a Weber outside. Situated lower in our garden, it is a restful and peaceful space.

Private groups only, exclusive use. Basic shower, loo, basin, as well as kitchenette space with electric fridge, sink & work space. You need to have a vehicle with a good high ground clearance to reach us. If you don’t have a high ground clearance vehicle we can arrange transport at an extra cost.

Enjoy the serene setting of this romantic getaway, nestled in nature—just 7km from the charming town of Montagu in the Little Karoo. The tent offers an off-the-grid experience, yet you’ll still have cellular reception and all the comforts of luxury. The tent is equipped with electric plugs & a range of small appliances: kettle, induction plate, microwave, toaster & an air-conditioning unit with hot & cold settings. The unit accommodates 2 guests with a queen-size bed.

Each Glamping tent sleeps two guests. We have 7 units with double beds and 3 units with 2 single beds. The tents are 3m by 6m in diameter and has electricity and lighting. Each unit has braai facilities and any other other cooking can be done in Pine Tree cabin which has a fridge, microwave, gas stove burners and the essential cooking utensils.
