Karoo Koppie Cottage

Koppie Cottage is our special "off-the-grid" Getaway. Access to the cottage is preferable with a 4x4 or Bakkie and goes through our Olive groves and across the River. The cottage is a tranquil haven , surrounded by Karoo veld and overlooked by the majestic Swartberg mountains. Windmill, limited solar power and gas supply the necessary utilities and peace and quiet are the order of the day. Drag yourself off the stoep, and walk up onto the Koppie behind, into the ancient Karoo veld.

Rosemary @ Soutbos Cottages

Escape to our charming hideaway on a serene Karoo Game Farm, just 1 km from Laingsburg. Originally old farmworker houses, now newly renovated, our cottages blend historic charm with contemporary design. Established in 1882, the farm embraces wabi-sabi aesthetics, celebrating imperfection and simplicity. We offer a 2bedroom with ensuite bathrooms unit (Shower, no bathtub) the unit features an open-plan kitchen, lounge with TV, dining area, and an indoor wood fireplace for cozy evenings.

This campsite is set in the bush. The sites are also fine for trailer tents and RV's. Each pitch has shade and a water point which is municipal drinking water. There are electricity points. The ablution block has hot water and flush toilets. The pool is on the site, essential for the long hot summers. We are pet friendly. Please make arrangements will the owner. please note that the price is set @ R125ppp. Throughout the year. The December rate is R170pppn.

Lavender Cottage @ Yellow House

Lavender Cottage is at the edge of our almond orchard with a view of the mountains from the stoep and braai-area. A king-sized bed overlooking the mountains can be made up as 2 3/4 beds, and a separate bedroom has two single beds. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering guests. Air-conditioning and the nearby pool keep guests cool in summer and a wood stove provides warmth in winter.

Schuilhoek Cottage - Your perfect hide away!

The Schuilhoek cottage delivers arguably the best views of the Swartberg Mountains in the Groenfontein Valley. Light a fire and sit back and relax in the sparkling pool and experience nature at its finest. The house has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, two fire places and exquisite wooden floors. Walk opposite the road to have a wine and port tasting at Peter Bayly wines!

Matjiesvlei Cottages - Die Stalle

Die Stalle, was originally built as the residences for two owners of undivided shares in the land bordering the Kleinrivier. It has now been restored into a comfortable 3 bedroomed cottage with a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. During the summer you can cool off in the nearby farm dam, or go for a swim in the river at the private picnic site.

Leeurivier Veldhuis - off the grid

Leeurivier is the perfect getaway 50km South West of Beaufort West. There is only one bush camp, The Veldhuis, which is flanked by two dry rivers and several koppies (Karoo Mountains). Leeurivier offers a multitude of game. We have created an atmosphere where families, fathers and sons, couples and families can bond while having an unforgettable time.

On a small olive farm .Situated in a quiet and private part of town, The Aloe House has 2 cozy en-suite bedrooms, perfect for couples and small groups. Africa Inn - Chalet 1

Chalet 1 is nice and spacious with two bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom with an outside shower. Beds can be made in King or single bed. The Chalet has a fully equiped kitchen with a dining table and lounge area. The stoep is where the magic takes place with a braai and splash pool for your enjoyment.
