Relax at our all-season, family- and pet-friendly Kawartha Lakehouse on an eastern-exposure waterfront with stunning views of Buckhorn Lake. Enjoy air conditioning during your stay. The screened-in dining room and dock provide a perfect space to unwind, rain/shine. The lakehouse features a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, with fresh linens on all beds. A canoe and two kayaks are incl. While there's a clean, shallow sandy beach for wading, swimming is not possible off the dock due to weeds.

The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). The backyard leads directly to the lake including a fire pit for your use. Please note that the natural slope of the yard (40 stairs) may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. While the suite doesn't feature a kitchen, Port Perry is only an 8 min drive and offers many culinary options.
